Why We Exist
Banks hold the deposits. They rarely hold the answer.
Small businesses power the American economy, yet when they need capital the banks that hold their deposits routinely say no — too small, too new, too seasonal, too complicated. The alternative-finance market that grew to fill that gap moves fast, but too much of it treats plain terms as optional.
Steedmont exists on a simple position: a business owner deserves both. The speed of modern private capital, and the candor of an old-line institution. Offers stated plainly. Costs on one page. An advisor who answers the phone after the wire clears, not just before.
We are a broker, and we say so plainly too. Steedmont does not lend its own capital. We maintain a vetted national network of funding providers and put them in competition for your file. Our leverage is your leverage — and because we're paid only when you fund, our incentive is a deal you'd sign again.

Plain terms, every time
Every offer we present states the amount, the total payback, and the schedule on one page. If a lender's paperwork buries something, we surface it before you sign — not after.
Paid on results only
Our compensation comes from the funding provider, and only when your business funds. No application fees. No upfront fees. No fee for advice or for offers you decline.
The right product, or none
Sometimes the honest answer is a smaller amount, a different structure, or 'wait two quarters.' Advisors are trained to give that answer when it's true.
